Students

Search LinkedIn, Indeed, GlassDoor, SST job board, follow industry leaders and local businesses on social media for live jobs. Create a resume that is visually appealing, 1-page and filled with relevant coursework. You have experience in industry grade equipment, software and tools...make sure to list them. Include your specific technical program name and the tasks and impact you execute each day. Look at posted jobs and tailor your resume to reflect your skills and company's needs.

Parents and Caregivers

Helping your student at home is another layer in their success. You can help in their job search by finding employment opportunities close to home. Students have a detailed resume and industry cover letter ready to go. Tweak their cover letter to the specifics of the employer and send that along with a resume. Instructors are always available for assistance!
